MISSION STATEMENT

Safe Alternatives for Abused Families (SAAF) is a nonprofit organization.  It's purpose shall be to provide relief to distressed members of families in the community, lessen the burden of state and local governmental agencies, and defend the basic human right to be safe from violence by providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and by creating a public awareness to the problem.  SAAF shall not discriminate against anyone because of race, age, color, religion, political affiliation, sex, handicap, or national origin.  SAAF shall seek funding, set policy, and coordinate programs to carry out its purposes and goals within Ramsey, Benson, Eddy, Towner, Nelson, and Wells counties and the surrounding areas.
